The rating shows the current level of your team. It is displayed with a number alongside a group of stars (a maximum of 5). Each star represents 20 rating points. The maximum rating is 100.
The rating consists of 2/3 talent and 1/3 training, e.g. if your team has a talent value of 60 and training value of 30, your rating would be 50 (2 * 60 + 1 * 30 = 150, 150 / 3 = 50).
The talent is the average of your 11 starting player's talent. So you have to buy better players to increase your talent value. In theory the maximum talent value is 100, if players with this talent value would exist.
Training points can be gained by executing training options, hiring coaches or getting certain stadium upgrades. The number of training points added by a certain training option depends on your current training value - the higher it is the less points will be added. Stadium upgrades usually add 1 point to your training value permantly. Such upgrades are training cones, training dummies, passing arcs or deluxe playfield. Some can be bought while others will be unlocked if you reach a certain level.
There are two types of coaching staff:
- Coach: Given to you when you play the game for the first time. The coach immediately increases the teams training points by 20, and lasts for 7 days.
- Personal Trainer: The personal trainer, gives an immediate training addition of 10 points to the team
Your training value can also decrease if your players are inactive (not training) or if you don't win matches (draw: -1, defeat: -2). These effects are blocked if you hired the coach that lasts 7 days.
